Tamannaah Bhatia Reveals Her Dream Role: A Sridevi Biopic! Tue March 18th, 2025

According to a media source, Tamannaah Bhatia will play an intriguing part alongside Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt in Jagan Shakti's next jungle adventure Ranger. As she prepares for this endeavor, the actress recently revealed how much she has always admired Sridevi and how she hopes to play the iconic star in a film.

The Stree 2 actress immediately mentioned Sridevi when asked which icon she would most like to play on screen. During a media chat, she told, "It would be Sridevi, ma'am. I think she was super iconic, and she's somebody I always admired."

This isn’t the first time Tamannaah has shared her wish to portray Sridevi on screen. In an earlier media chat, she revealed that Sridevi had been her inspiration since childhood and expressed her dream of bringing the legendary actress’s story to life in a biopic.

Regarding her career, Tamannaah Bhatia is preparing for a thrilling new journey! Alongside Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, she was cast as the female lead in Ranger by filmmaker Jagan Shakti, according to an exclusive media source.

The source further revealed, "She is excited to embark on this journey with the team of Ranger. It’s a well-crafted role, with an arc of redemption. She has allotted bulk dates to the team and has already started work for the film on the personal fronts. Tamannaah has also undergone multiple script reading sessions with Jagan Shakti."
