Director Sam Raimi and Gillian Greene to get divorced after 30 years of marriage! Thu May 09th, 2024

After thirty years of marriage, Sam Raimi's wife, Gillian Greene, has filed for divorce. Sam Raimi is the filmmaker of the Spider-Man trilogy. She has stated that their separation is due to irreconcilable differences.

Court records state that on May 8, 56-year-old Greene filed her petition at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. Despite being married since September 17, 1993, the exact date of their formal separation remains uncertain.

According to Greene's allegation, she wants spousal support. She asked the judge to stop 64-year-old Raimi from getting alimony following the divorce. In addition, she requests that before formally ending their marriage, he covers her legal expenses. There was probably no prenuptial agreement.

After thirty years of marriage, Sam Raimi and Gillian Greene have five children together. Raimi, their father, is a film director, and his three eldest children, Emma Rose, Lorne, and Henry, have all been extras in his films.
